Participate in our survey on value propositions for health app assessments The survey is targeted at app developers, healthcare providers, health authorities, health technology assessment bodies and health insurers. The results will support the selection of a suitable business model for the CEN-ISO 82304-2 health app certification, and potentially also benefit the draft European Health Data Space (EHDS) Regulation. Label2Enable at #HIMSS23Europe: recap Label2Enable participated in the HIMSS23 European Health Conference & Exhibition 7-9 June 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal. Label2Enable partners were featured in two event sessions, bringing together more than 270 participants. Project co-ordinator Petra Hoogendoorn gave an interview explaining what Label2Enable aims to accomplish. The project was also one of the featured EU projects in the HIMSS23 networking reception. Label2Enable second multi-stakeholder roundtable On 26 June 2023 Label2Enable held its second multi-stakeholder workshop “Preferred future of health and care in 5-10 years and the role of digital health quality labelling“ in Brussels, Belgium. The workshop brought together over 50 participants. In two breakout sessions, they brainstormed and discussing concrete ways to get there. Detailed results from the workshop will soon become available on the project website and social media. Read more
International Journal of Medical Informatics article lists ISO/TS 82304–2 as one of the key guidelines available to app manufacturers The article reviewed current and changing regulations related to the use of apps in healthcare. The review concluded that the important guidelines for manufacturers to comply with the Medical Devices Regulation are ISO 13485, ISO 17021, ISO 14971 and ISO/TS 82304–2.Read more
